No moving parts mean nothing can get stuck or malfunction and this handle will remain unaffected by sand and salt. This high strength injection molded nylon SUPGrip handle was designed specifically for Stand Up Paddleboards in Hawaii by Robert Stehlik. US Patent No. 9120218, the SUPGrip handle comes standard in all production Blue Planet SUP and SUP Foil boards and is the preferred handle for custom SUP boards.
SUPGrip makes it easy to grab your Stand Up Paddle Board quickly and securely, which is especially important for racing and in the shore break. The molded rubber grip surface is comfortable and grippy even when wet. Whether youâÂÂre a professional or a beginner, having a safe and comfortable way to manage, carry and handle your SUP can help you enjoy your sport with more confidence.

INSTALLATION
Installation depth is 1 þ", experience with a plunge router and epoxy resin/ glass needed for DYI installation, professional installation recommended. Please watch the video for installation instructions, please note that top of the handle should be covered with at least 2-3 layers of fiberglass to connect to the deck of the board for a solid installation. We recommend using Gorilla Glue to glue handle into foam, weigh down while glue is curing, then glass over the top with clear epoxy resin. If you are not experienced with these materials or are unsure about the installation process - do seek assistance from your nearest board repair professional.Â

Blue Planet started as a business college project at the University of Hawaii Manoa in 1993. The idea was to make unique, quality surf gear for surfers by surfers and that has not changed over the years.
